I haven't been blogging for a long time, guilty as charge. But I'm a busy girl. Busy, yet happy (most of the time) (:
Been doing a lot of self-reflection the past few days and I realised (more like re-confirming actually) how lucky I am.
I've probably travelled the most number of times this year though I always feel it's never enough. Macau, Zhuhai(China), Thailand, KL, Mount Ophir, Melbourne and Pulau Aur and not to forget a possible trip to KL next weekend with my colleagues.
Within the last 7 days and the next 7days to come, I'd very easily be a thousand dollars poorer(no I'm not going to break it down in case the lucky one reads it).
In the past 9 months or so, I feel like I've overcome many, many hurdles and now I shall pen down my list of 5 achievements(achieved/ to be achieved by end of) this year.
1. ACCA - achieved, graduated in Feb 2008.
2. Driving licence - achieved, on 31 July 2008.
3. Open water diving certificate - achieved, 7 Sept 2008.
4. Bike licence and bike - in the process, passed TRIAL RTT, awaiting RTT on 2 Oct 2008.
5. Financially stable without parent's support - in progress
and when I hit achievement no. 5, I already know what I want (finally, I got a wishlist! I always don't seem to want anything when others were full of it - psp, cool hp, ipod, iphone, whatever expensive gadget). It really is rewarding to spend your own money.
Wishlist
1. Motorcycle COE and a bike (of course) $3k estd?
2. BCD, regulator, 1st stage, octopus and whatnots, $800+
3. Mask, snorkle, fins, wetsuit and other accessories $300-400
4. Waterproof casing and waterproof camera up to 10metres $600 estd
Yes, I've got expensive desires.
Speaking of which, one of the partners in my office didn't sound too enthusiastic about me learning bike, he turned to another colleague and kept telling her how dangerous it was, and how the person suffers if they didn't die immediately but suffer from being handicapped, all that without looking at me while talking anymore. HAHA.
Speaking of office, I'm bloody bored of admin and I now feel underpaid because somewhere else is giving a HIGHER pay to a friend who hasn't completed ACCA and gave her 3 months to enjoy herself before starting work. How pleasant.
All the shit aside, I still feel very much blessed and am just looking forward to Saturday! *Countsdown to the babysitting & rewards of it* Lovely.
To sign off, I'll show you my sexy tan line. I've got 3 shades now with patches of skin on my arms peeling off. Thanks to the shorts and the sun while I was lazing on the boat ride back to Mersing.
